About Michelle

Hi, I’m Michelle! I have been reading craft and recipe blogs for years now and I finally decided to jump in and write about all the things I love.

 I love my family.

Husband and I met in sixth grade. We were in the same class, but ended up going to different high schools. We weren’t friends and didn’t keep in touch at all, but we recognized each other our freshman year of college in our US History class. After two missions for the LDS church, his to Argentina and mine to Austria, we married in 2006. We have so much fun together. He really brings out the best in me.

In 2011 we welcomed Sweet Girl into our family. She was the most gorgeous baby. It was a major adjustment, but she has brought so much joy to our family. She makes me smile everyday.

I love teaching.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and taught school for four years. Even though I love teaching, I never wanted to be a career teacher. I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom and teach my children, something I learned from my mom. I love doing learning activities with Sweet Girl, and I’m excited to start a little preschool this fall.

 I love to create.

I am not the most creative person in the world. That’s why I surround myself with people who are more creative than me. I love trying out new recipes and putting my touch on craft projects.

  I love my faith.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My faith has gotten me through difficult times and gives meaning to everything I do. It brings me true joy.

So that’s a little about me. I still have lots to learn, but I’m finding joy in the journey of learning to be a mom.

I love hearing from readers about suggestions, comments, or whatever!
